There are many beauty blogs out there and I do not expect this to become super popular or anything, I just simply enjoy writing out my thoughts and advice on beauty and other daily things. I am all about convenience, saving time and saving money! Now for today’s beauty blog,

                                I wanted to talk about how important primers are, both eye and face primers. To some this is common knowledge, but I want to cover the basics before getting into more advance things. First off, they but a “barrier” in-between your skin and foundation/eye shadow. Think of primers as you would a base coat to paint your nails. It is the same concept. Primers also help your makeup go on smoother because it gives it a more even surface to apply on. Now, specifically eye shadow primer will help your colors to be more vibrant and not crease. Nothings worse than having your eye shadow all ball up in one dark line on your lid? Am I right? Or seeing an amazing color, putting in on your eye and realizing it’s not so great? Well, just apply a little primer and it will make a world of difference I promise! Best of all both face and eye primers help your makeup last longer, it’s like a glue for your face! So no more acne, scars, or freckles popping out half way through the day! So when balancing your beauty budget I would definitely invest more into a decent primer. I mean, there is not a magic elixir that will make your makeup stay on perfectly for a full day, but it will for the long shift at work or an extra-long hot date (:!
